Ms. Lauren L

DPT

Pediatric Physical Therapist

Lauren has had a passion for working with children with special needs ever since she was younger and she's always been very interested in the anatomy of the human body. She combined these two interests and pursued a career in physical therapy to work with children with disabilities. Lauren was born, raised and educated in Virginia and spent her first few years after PT school working there in an outpatient setting working with children with various diagnoses and impairments and loved every second of it. Lauren also has experience working with children with special needs in countries like the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and Botswana, where she learned to be an adaptable and creative therapist.  Lauren enjoys getting to know the interests and hobbies of each child she treats and loves to incorporate these interests into their therapy sessions. Seeing children meet gross motor milestones that seemed impossible to achieve at first has been one of Lauren's favorite things about being a pediatric physical therapist and she's excited to continue to experience this at Sprouts!
