Ms. Tracy

Pediatric Occupational and Feeding Therapist

Dr. Tracy Chappell, OTR/L, holds a Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. She is known for her innovative approach in implementing cost-effective processes, therapeutic techniques, and educational resources for new therapy clinics. She has a diverse background in corporate finance and behavioral psychology. Personally, Tracy has faced significant challenges and now shares her story to inspire disadvantaged youth. Tracy is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, National Honors Society, McNair Scholar, and SROP scholar. As a travel therapist, Tracy has worked in various settings such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, schools, dementia units, and assisted living facilities nationwide. Her experiences have equipped her with the skills needed to excel as an innovative occupational therapist. Tracy has also dedicated her time to volunteer work in Central America, AmeriCorps, and Cincinnati, which has helped her develop leadership and cultural competency. She founded the non-profit organization Twelve Days of Christmas in Cleveland, Ohio, focused on local aid and sustainability. Tracy has conducted research on functional behavior analysis, assistive technology, post-stroke rehabilitation, and myo-electric orthotics. Her recent research on occupational therapists and cultural competency led to the establishment of her current non-profit, I.M.P.A.C.T. Tracy's work showcases her commitment to making a positive impact in the field of occupational therapy.

Hobbies and Interests

Tracy enjoys all things outdoors including trail running, hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, landscape photography, pickleball, and working out. On rainy days she enjoys cooking healthy meals for her toddler, baking sourdough, and reading a good book under a cozy blanket.
