Ms. Martha
PT
Pediatric Physical Therapist
Martha found her niche in pediatric physical therapy seven years into her profession. Over the last 27 years, Martha has worked in a variety of pediatric settings which include a medical therapy unit through California Children’s Services, a therapist-owned sensory integration clinic, an early intervention program in central California, a professional pediatric home health company out of Denver, Colorado, and most recently a hospital-based outpatient pediatric clinic in Kentucky.
Martha‘s love for children came from her Hispanic background as well as from her own mother who could calm any fussy baby, married a widower with five children, and proceeded to have five more!
As a pediatric therapist, Martha enjoys working with children and their families utilizing her sensory integration experience, her knowledge of motor control and development, as well as her understanding of neuroplasticity to bring about the best possible outcome in each child. Her love and passion is early intervention/development.
