Ms. Lacey

COTA/L

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Lacey has always loved working with children and knew from a young age that it was her true calling. Her passion first took root as a teenager when she became an aunt to an energetic little boy who filled her life with joy.

Before becoming a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Lacey gained valuable experience working in Child Development Centers on military bases and as a Registered Behavior Technician for several years, supporting children with Autism and ADHD. She had been interested in occupational therapy for some time, but it wasn’t until she had the opportunity to observe OT sessions that she knew it was the right path for her. Seeing firsthand how play-based and engaging the sessions were solidified her decision to pursue a career in this field and confirmed her belief that OT is a truly special profession she wanted to be a part of.

Lacey is passionate about the values of OT, including promoting independence, fostering meaningful engagement, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. She considers it a privilege to help children develop essential skills and confidence that shape their future.

Associate in Science, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pima Medical Institute
