Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Therapist
Julia is from Chicago, IL. She came to Hawaii for the sunshine and in search of things that feed her soul. Being a speech language pathologist is one way in which she finds fulfillment in life. Julia attended Governors State University, and graduated with a bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Montevallo, in Montevallo, Alabama. Julia received her Clinical Certificate of Competency from the American Speech Hearing Association in 2016. Her passions within the field include: early intervention and early childhood language, apraxia, motor speech disorders, myofunctional disorders, and feeding/dysphagia therapy. She has extensive experience with a wide variety of populations, including but not limited to: prematurity, autism spectrum disorder, downs syndrome, hydrocephaly, cortical blindness, and cerebral palsy.

Julia loves working at Sprouts, and truly feels at home in the collaborative space with her fellow clinicians. Sprouts has been a wonderful opportunity to grow as a therapist.
In her freetime, Julia is an avid yoga practitioner, including acro yoga. She enjoys water activities and hiking, anything to connect with nature.
