Ms. Emily

PT, DPT

Lead PT

Pediatric Physical Therapist

Emily joins Sprouts with extensive experience in Pediatrics across multiple settings. Emily graduated from Medical University of South Carolina in 2009 and has worked throughout the US and in a volunteer capacity while living overseas in Italy. Her love for PT stemmed from living an active lifestyle and wanting a job that would keep her out of a desk chair while helping others maximize their physical abilities. After graduating she worked in Outpatient Neuro Rehab working with adults with Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, MS, ALS and other neurological conditions. After a year or work, a job became available in the Pediatric Department and she hasn't looked back since. Working in Pediatrics gives the opportunity to combine her love for Neuro Rehab with Pediatric Development and challenges her to think outside of the box each day. She has since worked in outpatient hospital settings, private practice, early intervention, and home health settings. She seeks to be open minded, pursue ongoing learning opportunities, collaborate across disciplines, advocate for each child and empower their family to maximize their learning, growth, and functional abilities across the lifespan.
